About the Department
The Public Health Department plays a critical role in promoting a safe and healthy environment within the hospital and surrounding community. Through prevention, education, and enforcement of hygiene standards, we work to reduce the spread of infections and promote overall wellness across Nyeri County.

- Enforces strict hygiene protocols hospital-wide
- Manages waste segregation, sterilization, and proper PPE usage
- Conducts food safety inspections and water quality testing
